Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bobby Turnip!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans takes the fight into the clinch.
Turnip is working for takedown but Evans is calmly controlling the position for now.
Evans jumps guard and drags Turnip to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Turnip trying to control the position from guard on top but Evans is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Evans pushes Turnip off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Evans misses with a body kick.
Turnip gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Evans counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Turnip wants to stand but Evans is controlling the position.
Evans passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Evans cracks Turnip with a big right hand but Turnip just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Evans advances to full mount.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Evans lands with some strikes.
Turnip is rocked!
Turnip really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Turnip is still in real trouble! Can Evans finish him?
Evans unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Turnip wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Evans celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
