Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Chambers!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asscerack circles away from the clinch attempt.
Asscerack looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A head kick misses from Chambers.
Chambers tries to clinch up but Asscerack circles away and keeps his distance.
Asscerack misses with a double jab.
Chambers shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Asscerack sprawls well. Asscerack wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chambers gets slowly back to his feet.
Chambers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Asscerack as he avoids it easily.
Asscerack avoids a punch combination nicely.

Chambers gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Asscerack is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Chambers to keep the fight standing.
Chambers tries to circle away but Asscerack has him pinned against the cage.
Chambers is trying to maintain a safe position but Asscerack gets an underhook and turns Chambers into the cage.

Nice takedown defense from Chambers. No joy for Asscerack on that attempt.

Chambers darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ground and pound from Chambers.

Chambers lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Chambers wants to free his trapped foot but Asscerack is holding on for dear life with his legs.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Chambers is taking a breather. Asscerack says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Asscerack trying to hold on to Chambers's head to control him but Chambers postures up.

Chambers drops an elbow to the side of Asscerack 's head.
Asscerack is not content to let Chambers control the position.
Chambers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Asscerack . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Asscerack on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Asscerack tries to get out of the position.
Asscerack has hold of Chambers's hands but Chambers slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Chambers with the ground and pound but Asscerack uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Chambers trying to control the position from guard on top but Asscerack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Asscerack throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Chambers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Asscerack swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Asscerack wants to sweep but no luck.

Chambers showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Chambers trying to move into half guard but instead Asscerack has managed to sweep!
Chambers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Asscerack is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Asscerack wants to control from the top but Chambers keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chambers working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Asscerack .
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Asscerack shoots in and gets a takedown into Chambers's guard.
George Chambers has got the better of the ground game so far.
Chambers is trying to control the position but Asscerack postures up.
Asscerack pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chambers is keeping the position for now.
Chambers wants to sweep but no luck.
Chambers wants to control but Asscerack passes easily into half guard.
Chambers is looking for a sweep. Asscerack is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Asscerack will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Asscerack is trying to control. Chambers wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Asscerack tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Chambers.

Asscerack is keen to just control but Chambers is a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Robert Asscerack just wasn't active enough.
Chambers lands a nice hook to Asscerack 's body. Asscerack takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Chambers fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Asscerack sprawls well initially but Chambers persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Asscerack is looking to escape.
Asscerack trying to hold on to Chambers's head to control him but Chambers postures up.
Chambers wants to control but Asscerack is keeping him busy.

We're going to have a standup here because Robert Asscerack wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Sloppy strikes from Chambers. Those never looked like landing.

Asscerack closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Asscerack lands in his opponent's guard.

Asscerack drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Asscerack jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Chambers looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Asscerack passes into half guard.

so Asscerack counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Asscerack is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Asscerack trying to control but Chambers is working from the bottom.

Asscerack stands up from Chambers's guard - Asscerack perhaps looking for a knockout.

Chambers shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Asscerack counters by moving into the clinch.
A short right from Chambers on the inside.
Chambers is looking to break free of the clinch but Asscerack has double underhooks.

Asscerack wants the takedown. Chambers is fighting it off but Asscerack persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Chambers's guard against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Asscerack is stalling in the full guard.
Asscerack 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Asscerack shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chambers as he jumps to the side.
Chambers scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Chambers sizes up Asscerack with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.


Asscerack is rocked!

Chambers has managed to clinch.
Oh Asscerack is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chambers lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Chambers works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Chambers effectively controlling the action here.

Chambers drags the fight down to the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chambers keeping moving, preventing Asscerack from controlling successfully.
Chambers wants to get back to his feet but Asscerack is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Asscerack won't allow Chambers to sweep him here.
Chambers has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by George Chambers.
Asscerack moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Asscerack has a takedown stuffed.
Asscerack takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Chambers lands a hook that stumbles Asscerack back into the cage. Chambers follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Asscerack to the canvas! Chambers pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Asscerack has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). George Chambers!
George Chambers was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
