Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ian Nolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaito Rin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaito Rin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ian Nolan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaito Rin! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nolan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kaito Rin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nolan swinging wildly here.
Rin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nolan in his tracks. Nolan misses with a hook. Rin ducked under it nicely. Nice defenses there by Nolan. Nolan misses the shot to the body. Nolan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rin tries to avoid it but Nolan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rin to the ground. Rin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nolan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rin as he avoids it easily. A lazy left from Rin finds it's target. Rin misses with a series of wild punches.
A combination from Nolan does no damage. Nolan closes the distance and clinches up with Rin, looking for a takedown. Nolan pushes Rin against the cage but Rin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ian Nolan. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rin. Nolan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nolan there as he acknowledges the shot. Rin misses with a wild body shot. Rin digs a good hook to Nolan's body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nolan shoots in looking for a takedown. Rin tries to sprawl out of it but Nolan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nolan throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Rin blocks a low kick nicely. Rin lands a really nice looking cross but Nolan seems unphased.
Nolan misses with a takedown attempt and Nolan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Rin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rin scores with a one two! Nolan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Nolan misses with a takedown and Rin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nolan shoots and misses and Rin counters with a lovely straight right hand! A decent looking cross lands there for Rin. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rin pushes down on Nolan's leg and manages to get into half guard. Rin in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Nolan tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Rin!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kaito Rin! Jumping up and down and very excited, Kaito Rin waved his t-shirt featuring Catch Clothing's logo in front of the cameras.
