Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Casey Cullen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sasha Tugarinov!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tugarinov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cullen can pounce on him.
Cullen lands a big head kick that sends Tugarinov tumbling to the mat! Cullen takes a step backwards and waves Tugarinov back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Sasha Tugarinov has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cullen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tugarinov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cullen - the referee stops the clock and Tugarinov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cullen. Tugarinov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Casey Cullen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tugarinov looks gassed!
Cullen lands a leg kick that knocks Tugarinov off balance momentarily.
Tugarinov tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Cullen connects with a solid leg kick.
Cullen throws a head kick that half lands.
Cullen bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Cullen circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Tugarinov drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Cullen follows Tugarinov to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Casey Cullen!
