Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miles Blue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyson Briggs!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blue swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Briggs counters with a two punch combo.
Blue tries to clinch

and Briggs moves into the clinch.
A short uppercut from Briggs.
Briggs lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Blue.
Blue is looking to break free of the clinch but Briggs has double underhooks.

Briggs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Briggs is looking to clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Briggs. Those never looked like landing.
Briggs throws a right hand that Blue ducks under and follows up with a left that Blue also avoids with ease.
Briggs lands a jab.
Blue throws a series of punches but Briggs avoids them all with ease.
Blue misses with a few strikes there.
Briggs ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Blue displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Briggs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Briggs tries a knee to the head but Blue blocks it.
Blue is trying to push Briggs away but Briggs has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Briggs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Briggs crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Blue - the referee stops the clock and Briggs gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Blue. Briggs manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Briggs takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The fight stays on the outside here - Briggs looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Briggs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Briggs gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Blue wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Briggs's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Briggs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Blue lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Briggs circles away quickly and effectively.
Briggs scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Blue looks to throw the jab but Briggs is out of range.
Briggs blocks a head kick by Blue.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blue walks into a left hand.
Briggs lands a glancing blow to the side of Blue's head.
Blue tries to bum rush Briggs with a series of wild strikes but Briggs uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Briggs will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Briggs misses with a few strikes there.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
