The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendi moves into the clinch successfully.
Seven jumps into guard, dragging Hendi to the mat.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Hendi throwing strikes from guard but Seven blocks nicely.
Seven looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hendi is looking to stand up but Seven won't let him.
Hendi showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Hendi trying to control but Seven is working from the bottom.
Hendi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Seven on the ground.
Hendi tries to free his leg and advance position but Seven is retaining full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The ref stands the fighters back up because Kim Hendi just wasn't active enough.
Hendi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hendi lands in his opponent's guard.
Hendi is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Seven has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hendi is looking to defend but Seven has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hendi! Seven pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hendi taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Patrick Seven!
