Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Sentipiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Skrillex - Ruffneck kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Frank Mir acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir misses with a leg kick
and Sentipiel counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mir thinking.
Mir tries to close the distance and clinch but Sentipiel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sentipiel tries to clinch up but Mir circles away and keeps his distance.
Sentipiel closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Sentipiel is looking to take a break and control but Mir is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sentipiel lands a nice hook to Mir's body. Mir takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Mir misses with a low kick as Sentipiel jumps back.

Sentipiel has picked Mir up - he's going for a ride! Sentipiel dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sentipiel connects with a nice short shot to Mir's temple.
Sentipiel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mir does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
