The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stratton looking to score a takedown here. McFly is defending well but Stratton drives through and ends up in McFly's guard.
McFly tries to land a sweep but no joy.
McFly is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McFly preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Stratton drops back looking for a leg! McFly is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McFly manages to kick Stratton off! Stratton jumps back into McFly's guard.
Stratton wants to pass the guard but McFly is keeping the position.

McFly wants to pass the guard but Stratton is keeping the position.
McFly has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stratton is proving hard to escape from.
Stratton seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Stratton! McFly is hurt baaadly! Stratton is firing away with more strikes - McFly is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
