Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Justin Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryson LeMontange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin Potter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bryson LeMontange!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeMontange shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Potter but Potter pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Potter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but LeMontange swivels and escapes.
LeMontange scores with a head kick.
LeMontange fails with a takedown attempt.
LeMontange swats away the attempt to clinch by Potter.
LeMontange shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Justin Potter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryson LeMontange.
LeMontange misses with a takedown attempt - Potter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bryson LeMontange seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Potter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from LeMontange.
Potter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Potter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says LeMontange as he avoids it easily.

Potter is looking to regain half guard here but LeMontange keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

LeMontange is trying to get an arm triangle but Potter is defending well.

Potter is not content to let LeMontange control the position.

LeMontange is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Potter knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

LeMontange is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Potter has escaped the position, nice work there.
Potter manages to get back to half guard.
Potter is looking to control LeMontange's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Potter avoid being mounted?
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
LeMontange lands strikes from half guard.
LeMontange is looking to take a break and control but Potter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

LeMontange is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
LeMontange might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Potter kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
LeMontange thows a huge punch but Potter dodges it nicely.

LeMontange looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Potter with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

LeMontange is working for a kimura but Potter is defending it quite comfortably.

Potter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

LeMontange postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Potter is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of LeMontange, into his guard.
LeMontange controls Potter momentarily but Potter frees himself.

LeMontange has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Potter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Justin Potter just wasn't active enough.

LeMontange closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Potter quickly recovers to half guard.
LeMontange is trying to control the action in half guard but Potter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

LeMontange is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
LeMontange takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Potter is defended easily by LeMontange.
Potter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts LeMontange as he jumps to the side.
LeMontange is trying hard to land a takedown here. Potter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
LeMontange shoots for a double leg takedown but Potter sprawls well. He's pushed LeMontange's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

LeMontange has closed the distance and engaged Potter in a clinch.
LeMontange tries to land knees in the clinch but Potter avoids the damage to the body.
LeMontange is pressed up against the cage. Potter has hold of a leg and is looking to drag LeMontange down to the mat. LeMontange avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

LeMontange shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Potter pinned against the cage. Potter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Potter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as LeMontange sprawls well. LeMontange wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Potter gets slowly back to his feet.

LeMontange really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Potter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bryson LeMontange hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

LeMontange feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
LeMontange is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Well LeMontange has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
