Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigues Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melchior Ficagna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Junior wants the takedown. Ficagna is fighting it off but Junior persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ficagna's guard against the cage.

Ficagna drops back looking for a leg! Junior is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Junior manages to kick Ficagna off! Ficagna jumps back into Junior's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rodrigues Junior.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Junior, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
