The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kessler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kessler throws a nice looking combination but Painija bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kessler connects with a good right hand that stumbles Painija. Painija circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Painija misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kessler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Painija takes one on the button.

Painija is rocked!
A clash of legs there as Kessler blocks the low kick.
Oh Painija is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Painija closes the distance and clinches up with Kessler, looking for a takedown. Painija pushes Kessler against the cage but Kessler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
