1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Lesnar! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels is looking to land body kicks. Lesnar connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Lesnar scores with a takedown into Daniels's guard. Lesnar drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Daniels manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lesnar has Daniels in his guard. Daniels postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lesnar is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Daniels, into his guard. Lesnar tries to stand but Daniels is controlling from the bottom. Lesnar is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Daniels is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Daniels has escaped and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesnar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Daniels gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lesnar can't keep his opponent in guard - Daniels advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Daniels seems to be working for a kimura but Lesnar defends the submission attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Daniels will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
