Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Joshin tries to get to full guard but Pierre has control of the leg.
Joshin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pierre shoots in and bounces Joshin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pierre avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Joshin wants to sweep here but Pierre controlling him for the moment.
Pierre has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Joshin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pierre can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Joshin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pierre is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Joshin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pierre's back instead.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Joshin has eaten all the pies!

Pierre keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Joshin's head.

Joshin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pierre gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Joshin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pierre doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pierre manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Joshin is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Pierre has his hands clasped together but Joshin extends an breaks Pierre's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Joshin.
