Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Monster Cerebrus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ray Ostin! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ostin has managed to clinch.
Ostin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cerebrus pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ostin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nice body punch from Cerebrus. Cerebrus moves into the clinch successfully.
Cerebrus blocks an uppercut.
Cerebrus lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Cerebrus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cerebrus gets tackled into the cage by Ostin. Ostin maintains the clinch. Cerebrus wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A short right from Cerebrus. Ostin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cerebrus walks away with a smile on his face. Ostin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Monster Cerebrus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Ostin. Cerebrus getting the better of the striking in that exchange. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cerebrus looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cerebrus scores with a sloppy right hand. Ostin should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cerebrus tries to clinch but Ostin is having none of it. Cerebrus leaves Ostin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Cerebrus throws a right and a left that both miss. Ostin takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Cerebrus misses with a double jab.
Cerebrus lands with a right that hurts Ostin. Ostin looks to clinch but Cerebrus throws a short knee that drops Ostin. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Monster Cerebrus!
