Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Max Rockatansky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gustav Tedvik! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rockatansky closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Rockatansky could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rockatansky wants to stand but Tedvik is controlling his arm. Tedvik is trying to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on Tedvik's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rockatansky trying to control the position but Tedvik is working away. Rockatansky throws an elbow but Tedvik slips to the side and avoids it well. Rockatansky tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Tedvik wants to control but Rockatansky postures up. Tedvik holds on to Rockatansky's head and controls the position momentarily. Rockatansky tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Tedvik struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rockatansky throws an elbow but Tedvik slips to the side and avoids it well. Tedvik wants to control but Rockatansky postures up. Tedvik manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Tedvik is trying to control but can't.

Rockatansky tries to stand but Tedvik is controlling from the bottom. Tedvik working for a triangle but Rockatansky defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tedvik working for a triangle but Rockatansky defends it easily.
Tedvik has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Rockatansky has passed into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rockatansky lands an elbow. Rockatansky tries to stand but Tedvik is controlling his head. Tedvik manages to get back to half guard. Rockatansky is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Tedvik is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tedvik can do anything to dispel that myth. Tedvik is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rockatansky's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rockatansky's back! Rockatansky is taking damage to the body and head. Tedvik has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Rockatansky! Can he survive? No! He's out! Tedvik gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
