Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, George W Bash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Von Hammer! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Bruno Lombardi and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammer throws a hook but Bash avoids it easily. Bash takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Hammer throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bash gets a double leg takedown into Hammer's guard. Bash looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Hammer working a defensive guard here.
Bash trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bash is looking to stand up but Hammer won't let him. Hammer wants to sweep here but Bash controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bash looking to pass the guard. Bash is working hard here to advance position. Bash drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bash jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bash looking to pass the guard. Hammer wants to sweep but no luck.

Bash trying to control but Hammer is working from the bottom. Bash pushing down on Hammer's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Bash not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bash frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hammer taking shots to the head. Hammer is squirming around, avoiding Bash's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bash throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Bash sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Bash can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hammer is looking to escape. Bash looking for a guillotine from mount but Hammer is having none of it. Poor strikes thrown by Bash there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hammer in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Bash raining down hammerfists from mount. Bash with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Bash has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bash trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hammer avoids a series of strikes thrown by Bash.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hammer has left one of his arms exposed and Bash doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Hammer screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
