Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva Jr's entrance music is Pendulum - Blood Sugar. A fine choice. Wanderlei Silva Jr could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Paulo Kang's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wanderlei Silva Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paulo Kang!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva Jr with a nice cross.
Silva Jr uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Kang smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Nice shot lands for Silva Jr.
Kang thows a body shot but no joy.
Kang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kang misses with an uppercut.
Kang lands a slapping body shot.
Kang connects with a high kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A decent looking cross lands there for Silva Jr.
Kang blocks a jab.
Kang takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kang is rocked!
Kang lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kang is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva Jr finish him?
Silva Jr works the jab nicely.
Silva Jr tries to work over Kang's front leg with a kick but Kang checks it.
Kang jabs at Silva Jr's body.
Kang checks a leg kick nicely.
Silva Jr misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kang.
Silva Jr will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Silva Jr throws a body punch but Kang moves out of range.
Kang rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Silva Jr counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva Jr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Silva Jr dips to his left and cracks Kang with an uppercut!
and Silva Jr counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Kang! He's just covering up as Silva Jr starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wanderlei Silva Jr!
