The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Orthrus, right into the meat.
Orthrus tries a head kick but it misses.
A thudding body kick lands there by Orthrus!
Yamamoto moves into the clinch.
Orthrus utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Orthrus lands a right hand.
Orthrus tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Yamamoto avoids it.
Yamamoto goes for a takedown in the clinch but Orthrus prevents it.
Yamamoto on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Orthrus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Orthrus tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Yamamoto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Yamamoto dives in and scores a takedown into Orthrus's guard.
Orthrus has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Yamamoto has passed into side control.
Yamamoto decides to stand back up. Yamamoto steps back and let's Orthrus get back to his feet.

Nice takedown defense from Orthrus. No joy for Yamamoto on that attempt.
Nice uppercut lands for Orthrus. That snapped Yamamoto's head back.
Orthrus connects with an inside leg kick.
Yamamoto is breathing heavily.
Orthrus is looking to slow Yamamoto down with leg kicks.
Orthrus has Yamamoto up against the cage in a clinch.
Orthrus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Yamamoto misses with a looping right.
Orthrus moves in looking to clinch but Yamamoto pushes him off.
Orthrus gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Orthrus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Orthrus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Yamamoto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Orthrus's waist but Orthrus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yamamoto off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoshihiro Yamamoto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Orthrus lands a two punch combo.
Yamamoto avoids a punch combination nicely.
Orthrus punishes Yamamoto's body with a nice straight punch.
Orthrus scores with a sloppy right hand. Yamamoto should have avoided that one.

Oh Yamamoto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BAM! Orthrus delivers a spinning backfist that drops Yamamoto like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
