Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harold Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doom Unit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Velasquez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Velasquez tries to stand but Unit is controlling his head.
Unit is not content to let Velasquez control the position.

Velasquez decides to stand up, so the ref orders Unit to his feet.
Velasquez tries for a takedown but Unit circles away easily
and Unit counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Velasquez misses with a looping left.

Velasquez rushes Unit and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Unit misses with a takedown attempt - Velasquez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Velasquez moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Unit lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Unit shoots in looking for a takedown. Velasquez tries to sprawl out of it but Unit keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Velasquez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Unit shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Velasquez sprawls well. Velasquez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Unit gets slowly back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Harold Velasquez will probably get the nod.
