Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Simpson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Furlong changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Simpson tries to avoid it but Furlong manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Simpson to the ground. Simpson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Furlong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Simpson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Furlong somewhat.
Furlong closes the distance and clinches up with Simpson, looking for a takedown. Furlong pushes Simpson against the cage but Simpson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Furlong is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Simpson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
