Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Christ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dario Crews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crews is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Born on the FM Waves - Against Me. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jesus Christ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Dario Crews! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Christ throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Crews's waist but Crews gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Christ off to one side. Crews swings for the body but Christ moves out of range.
Christ clinches with his opponent.
Christ's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Crews pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Crews lands with an uppercut that bounces Christ off the cage and back into range. Crews feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Christs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Crews throws a looping overhand right but Christ ducks down to avoid it. Christ misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Christ changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crews tries to avoid it but Christ manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crews to the ground. Crews escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Christ. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesus Christ. That's going to take a lot out of him. Christ shoots for a takedown but Crews saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Christ blocks the body kick.
Christ is trying hard to land a takedown here. Crews sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Christ shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Christ closes this distance looking for a takedown but Crews circles away. Christ displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crews throws out the jab. Christ takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Christ closes this distance looking for a takedown but Crews circles away. Crews throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Christ on the side of the head. Jab by Crews. Jesus Christ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Christ shoots in looking for a takedown but Crews manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Christ's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Crews jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Christ shoots for a double leg takedown but Crews sprawls well. He's pushed Christ's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Christ is breathing heavily. Nice body punch from Crews. Christ tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crews sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Christ somewhat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Christ has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Jesus Christ has been cut. Christ has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Christ there as he acknowledges the shot. Christ is trying hard to land a takedown here. Crews sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Crews catches Christ with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Christ tries for a takedown but Crews sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Crews throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Christ stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Crews drops Christ with a right and a left! Crews comes rushing in but Christ regains his composure and manages to keep Crews in guard.
Christ is rocked! Crews drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Crews as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Christ screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Crews! Nice submission victory there!
