The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tesser wants to clinch but Gonzales slips to the side
and Gonzales counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gonzales trying to control the position from guard on top but Tesser is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gonzales is stalling in the full guard.
Tesser is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Gonzales slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Randy Gonzales.
Tesser misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gonzales fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Tesser is kicking away at Gonzales from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Gonzales grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a hell hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Tesser trying to push Gonzales off... Tesser taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
