Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joulu Pukki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bang Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bang Bang!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pukki will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Bang throws a front kick aimed at Pukki's knee but Pukki avoids it well.
Pukki lands a jab-cross combination.
Bang throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bang throws a body punch but Pukki moves out of range.
Pukki throws a head kick but Bang moves out of range.

Pukki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bang is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pukki off and has taken his back!
Bang slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Bang is trying to stick to Pukki's back but Pukki is turning into Bang. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bang's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pukki.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pukki looks to land a left hand but Bang moved out of range nicely.
Pukki does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Pukki bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Pukki remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Joulu Pukki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bang connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pukki momentarily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joulu Pukki will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We're going to have a standup here because Joulu Pukki wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Bang checks the leg kick.
Pukki slips a jab and a cross from Bang.
Pukki feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bang's calf.
Bang throws a right hand that Pukki ducks under and follows up with a left that Pukki also avoids with ease.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bang. That's going to slow Pukki down.
Bang walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Pukki checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Bang with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pukki to score with a decent uppercut.
Horrible takedown by Pukki or perhaps it was just good defense by Bang which made him look bad.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pukki.
Bang wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pukki, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
