Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evan Sherls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clydee Forte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Forte comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Psycho Holiday kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Evan Sherls! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Clydee Forte! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sherls shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Sherls prevents Forte from improving his position. Sherls moves nicely into side control. Forte tries to bench press Sherls off him but Sherls keeps the position. Sherls trying to control the position but Forte is working away. Forte tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sherls wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Sherls wants to stand but Forte is controlling his arm. Forte sneaks back into half guard. Forte is looking to control Sherls's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Forte avoid being mounted? Forte is trying to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Forte scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Sherls is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sherls holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Sherls is looking for a sweep. Forte is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Forte is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sherls doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Forte. Forte working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Sherls's thigh. Sherls counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Forte trying to control the position from guard on top but Sherls is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Forte passes Sherls's left leg - he's now in half guard. Forte should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Sherls is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Forte jumps into side control! Sherls tries to buck Forte off but Forte is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Forte is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sherls is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Forte looks gassed! You can see the frustration on Sherls's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Sherls is looking for a sweep. Sherls is trying to control Forte's posture but Forte avoids it. Sherls avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Forte. Forte working away.

and Sherls counters with a nice double leg into side control. Forte won't be happy with that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Forte manages to get back to half guard. Sherls prevents Forte from improving his position. Forte slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Sherls trying to control the position from guard on top but Forte is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sherls has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Forte is proving hard to escape from. Forte is looking to sweep but instead, Sherls has passed into half guard.
Forte wants to get back to full guard but Sherls has mounted him! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Evan Sherls dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The fight stays on the outside here - Sherls looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Evan Sherls is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Excellent takedown into side control there by Forte. Forte is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sherls has escaped the position, nice work there. Sherls explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Forte is breathing heavily. Sherls doesn't succeed with the takedown and Forte holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Sherls has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Forte is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Forte goes for a takedown attempt but Sherls pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Forte doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sherls counters with a nice double leg into side control. Forte won't be happy with that. Sherls in side control lands a decent elbow. Forte is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Forte slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Forte looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Forte looking for a guillotine here but Sherls defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Forte looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sherls is one step ahead there. Forte is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Forte has his foot on Sherls's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sherls works his way back into a safe position though. Forte is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sherls moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Sherls keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom. Forte is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sherls is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sherls has escaped and now he's on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sherls trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Forte throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Forte looking for a sweep. Not yet Forte, not yet. Sherls stands and throws Forte's legs to the side, diving into side control. Evan Sherls overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Forte tries to improve position but can't. Sherls wants to control but Forte is keeping him busy. Forte manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Forte throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Forte trying to control from the bottom.
Forte slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Sherls stopping the sweep attempt from Forte. Forte working for submissions but it's allowed Sherls to get to half guard.

Forte makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Forte. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Evan Sherls will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Sherls has his takedown stuffed and Forte decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sherls's guard. Forte drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sherls dives on top into guard. Sherls not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Sherls would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Sherls trying to control but Forte is working from the bottom. Sherls thows a big elbow that misses. Forte is looking for a triangle but Sherls pushes his legs off easily.
Forte takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Forte is trying to hold Sherls in close to prevent damage but Sherls has managed to pass into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sherls is tying to control. Forte wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Still in half guard, Sherls seems content to control. Forte is looking to improve his position.
Forte wants to get back to full guard but Sherls has mounted him! Forte wants to control but Sherls is having none of it. Forte is trying desperately to improve position. Sherls wants to control the pace but Forte is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sherls working for a submission but Forte is keeping him at bay. Forte is trying to escape the mount.
Sherls trying to control but he's not successful this time. Forte regains half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Forte manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Sherls postures up in Forte's guard and throws a big left but Forte blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Forte is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Forte not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Forte manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sherls manages to get himself to full guard.
Forte trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Forte advances position into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Forte is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sherls knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Sherls is trying to control Forte's posture but Forte avoids it.
