Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hachiko Kuwashio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calviin Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calviin Johnson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hachiko Kuwashio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Calviin Johnson! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson tries to clinch but Kuwashio moves away and Kuwashio counters with a right hand to the body. Kuwashio misses with a double jab.
Johnson misses with a few strikes there.
Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kuwashio misses with a jab, cross combination.
Johnson dips to his left and cracks Kuwashio with an uppercut! Kuwashio looks to land a combination but Johnson avoids it well. Kuwashio misses with a double jab
and Johnson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kuwashio lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson connects with the punch. Johnson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Johnson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Johnson tries to clinch up. Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Johnson misses with an uppercut
and Kuwashio counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Johnson thinking. Kuwashio scores with a one two! Johnson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Kuwashio dodges the punch combination from Johnson.
Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kuwashio tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johnson was well out of range. Poor timing from Kuwashio. A big left from Johnson misses. Kuwashio circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kuwashio connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Johnson momentarily.
Kuwashio connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Johnson's hands. Johnson tries to clinch but Kuwashio moves out of range. Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Johnson moves to clinch but Kuwashio breaks away and Kuwashio counters with a three punch combo that has Johnson backing up. Johnson nods at Kuwashio to acknowledge the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Johnson.
It looks like Hachiko Kuwashio has been cut. Kuwashio looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kuwashio dodges the punch combination from Johnson.
Kuwashio lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively. Jab from Kuwashio. A looping hook to the body misses from Kuwashio. Johnson does a little dance to reset his feet. Kuwashio throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kuwashio keeps the fight on the outside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuwashio rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kuwashio throws a right and a left that both miss. Johnson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kuwashio. Kuwashio circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Kuwashio throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease. A combination from Johnson does no damage. Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kuwashio swats him away and circles back towards the center. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The fighters circle momentarily. Kuwashio darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Johnson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hachiko Kuwashio will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Hachiko Kuwashio's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kuwashio ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away. A big left from Johnson misses. Kuwashio connects with a body shot. Kuwashio throws an overhand right that lands on Johnson's shoulder, as Johnson tries to avoid the shot. Johnson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Kuwashio circles away.
Hachiko Kuwashio is winning the standup battle so far. Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss. Kuwashio takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kuwashio is rocked! Johnson shoots in but Kuwashio avoids the takedown attempt easily. Oh Kuwashio is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.
Kuwashio throws a wild hook but Johnson just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Kuwashio gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Johnson raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Calviin Johnson! An out of breath and clearly excited Calviin Johnson thanked Reaper Combatwear for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
