Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chemical Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Quinccino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ali comes to the cage accompanied by Bomb Canada. Chemical Ali could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Don Quinccino's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ali.
Ali throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Quinccino.
Horrible takedown by Quinccino or perhaps it was just good defense by Ali which made him look bad.
Ali misses with a takedown attempt
and Quinccino counters with a solid body kick.
Quinccino doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ali's corner calls for a 1-2. Ali obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Quinccino counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ali!

Ali thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Ali postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Quinccino to stand up.

Ali throws a solid leg kick but Quinccino takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ali.
Ali throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ali shoots in and drives through. Quinccino sprawls well.
Ali looks to land a combination but Quinccino avoids it well.
Quinccino shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Quinccino was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Quinccino tries to free his leg and advance position but Ali is retaining full guard.
Quinccino works over Ali with some ground and pound from guard.
Quinccino must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ali moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chemical Ali.
