Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trapp Deathgrip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederic Laurent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laurent has chosen Tropa de Elite as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frederic Laurent!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laurent fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Deathgrip looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Laurent connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Deathgrip momentarily.
Deathgrip throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Laurent moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Deathgrip fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Laurent manages to avoid it.
Laurent feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Deathgrip sprawling to the canvas! Deathgrip rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Laurent finish him?!
Deathgrip is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Laurent fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Deathgrip square on the jaw! Damn, Deathgrip is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frederic Laurent!
A relieved looking Frederic Laurent thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
