Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jericho Datu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Datu comes to the cage accompanied by Ridin Dirty. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hill showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Datu on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Hill is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hill is controlling the pace.
Hill is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Datu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hill.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Datu.
Datu throws a looping overhand right but Hill ducks down to avoid it.
Datu shoots in for a takedown but Hill shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Datu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hill avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Datu.

Datu misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Hill is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Datu off and has taken his back!
Hill looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Datu is controlling Hill 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard.

Hill bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Datu's guard.
Hill working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bobby Hill has got the better of the ground game so far.
Datu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hill manages to get to full guard.
Datu looking to sit in guard and control but Hill gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hill accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Datu had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hill defends it easily.

Bobby Hill has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Datu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hill needs to keep his hands up - Datu had a free shot at his head there.
Jericho Datu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Datu looks to land a right hand but Hill moved out of range.
Datu instigates a clinch.
Datu tries for a takedown but Hill manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jericho Datu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Datu tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Datu has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hill is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hill wants to control from the top but Datu keeps moving.
Hill is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bobby Hill showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hill gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Datu to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Hill has his feet on Datu's thighs here. He's pushed Datu off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Datu screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
