Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Frink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Frink! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Miller! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frink instigates a clinch. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Frink just misses with a elbow thrown towards Miller's brow. Frink lands an elbow just above Miller 's eye. Frink pushes off an throws an elbow but Miller leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Miller dodges an elbow strike from Frink.
Frink lands a nice elbow. Miller can't get the takedown.
Miller tries to land a knee to the head but Frink blocks with his arms.
Miller avoids a wild elbow strike from Frink. Miller utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Miller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Frink throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Miller. Frink moves into range and clinches up with Miller. Frink throws an elbow but it misses.

It looks like John Frink has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Miller lands a knee to the head.
Miller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. John Frink seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Frink swings for the body but Miller moves out of range.
Frink throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Miller counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Miller.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Miller slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Frink sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Miller passes the guard and advances to mount! Frink bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Frink is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller looking to hit a scissor sweep but Frink is one step ahead there. Frink advances to half guard. Frink slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frink is trying to control the action in half guard but Miller is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Miller looking for subs from the bottom but Frink mounts him! Frink wants to control the pace but Miller is squirming around nicely. Miller is trying desperately to improve position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frink controlling his opponent. Frink trying to control but he's not successful this time. A nice elbow there by Frink. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Frink prevents Miller from getting the reversal. Frink takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Frink seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Miller for as long as he can get away with. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that John Frink will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on John Frink's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
No luck for Miller with that takedown attempt. Frink is looking to clinch. Miller closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A knee to the head by Miller.
Frink gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Frink throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Miller drops down looking for an ankle pick but Frink pulls his leg out and moves away.
Miller slips a jab from Frink. Frink slaps away a takedown attempt from Miller, before circling back to the center of the mat. John Frink has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Miller. Frink throws a head kick that misses.

Miller closes the distance and clinches up with Frink, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes Frink against the cage but Frink circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Frink throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Frink gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Miller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Frink throws a leg kick and Miller counters with a one-two to the body. Frink tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Miller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. No joy there for Miller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Miller slips under a jab. The fight moves into the clinch position. Miller tries for a takedown. No joy.
Miller throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Frink blocks it with crossed arms. Miller misses with a knee to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice elbow from Miller. Miller avoids a wild elbow strike from Frink. Miller blocks an elbow strike from Frink.

Frink misses with an elbow over the top. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Frink keeps control of Miller as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Frink lands an elbow inside. Miller dodges an elbow strike from Frink.
With the fighters up against the cage, Miller throws an elbow but misses. Miller wants the takedown. Frink is fighting it off but Miller persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Frink's guard against the cage. Frink working a defensive guard here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Frink keeping full guard, as Miller tries to pass. John Frink overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Miller wants to control from the top but Frink keeps moving. Frink lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Miller!

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Frink is looking to control Miller but Miller is wriggling around and keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. I would not like to be Miller right now.
Frink has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Miller. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller staying busy and making it hard for Frink to control. I would not like to be Miller right now.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Frink dominated that second round. The cut man is working on John Frink's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Miller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Miller keeps the fight on the outside. Miller pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Miller fails with a takedown attempt. Miller throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Frink's waist but Frink gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miller off to one side. John Frink has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Miller.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frink is looking to clinch. No joy there for Frink, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Frink pivots, looking for a leg kick but Miller is out of range and Frink settles back down. Jab by Frink. Miller slips a jab and a cross from Frink.
Miller moves out of range as Frink throws a body kick.
No luck for Miller with that takedown attempt. Frink tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Miller counters with a series of strikes. Frink will be more careful next time no doubt. Frink thows a leg kick but Miller checks it letting Miller counter with a right hand. A head kick by Frink misses and Miller counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Frink.
Miller tries to sprawl but Frink drives through with a takedown into half guard. Miller takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Frink sitting and controlling from the half guard. Frink works his way into full mount! Frink prevents Miller from getting the reversal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Frink looking to control but Miller is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Miller is in a horrible position here. Frink smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Frink tries to control but Miller wriggling away. Miller is looking to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frink is trying to take his opponent's back.

Miller reaches up to try and control the position but Frink seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Miller rolls and tries to escape and now Frink has his back!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Miller staying busy and making it hard for Frink to control. Miller is trying to break free.
And that's the end of the fight! John Frink showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Frink, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
