Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Deeney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). West comes to the cage accompanied by Bat-man. The crowd seem to be enjoying Deeney's choice of entrance music: When We Ride. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West throws a right hand that Deeney ducks under and follows up with a left that Deeney also avoids with ease.
Nice takedown defense from Deeney. No joy for West on that attempt.
West looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
West fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam West. That's going to take a lot out of him.

West looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Deeney is fending him off so far but West persists. Nope, Deeney circles away and we're back to standing.

Deeney throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Deeney leaves West with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Deeney stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Deeney wants it to stay on the feet.
Horrible takedown by West or perhaps it was just good defense by Deeney which made him look bad.

West wants to pass the guard but Deeney is keeping the position.

Deeney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with West. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
