Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yohan Evensemen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Martin Huuhkaja! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evensemen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Huuhkaja connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Huuhkaja throws an overhand right that lands on Evensemen's shoulder, as Evensemen tries to avoid the shot. Huuhkaja misses with a takedown attempt - Evensemen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Evensemen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Martin Huuhkaja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Evensemen fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yohan Evensemen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Huuhkaja throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Evensemen's waist but Evensemen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Huuhkaja off to one side. Evensemen looks for a takedown but Huuhkaja sprawls well. Huuhkaja shoots for a takedown but Evensemen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Donk. Huuhkaja catches Evensemen right on the button with a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. Huuhkaja fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Evensemen leaves Huuhkaja with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Evensemen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Huuhkaja sprawls well. Huuhkaja wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Evensemen gets slowly back to his feet. Evensemen fails with the takedown. Evensemen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Huuhkaja tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Evensemen is in Huuhkaja's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Huuhkaja working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Evensemen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Huuhkaja is tightening it up a little... Evensemen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Evensemen reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Evensemen taps out! Nice BJJ there by Huuhkaja!

Martin Huuhkaja really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Outkast Clothing Line logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
