Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saku Sammakko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sammakko comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Saku Sammakko kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Cruz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cruz throws a body punch but Sammakko moves out of range.
Cruz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sammakko.
Sammakko misses with an uppercut.
Sammakko looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Carlos Cruz will probably get the nod.
