Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marley has chosen dont worry as his entrance music. Bruce Bruce had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marley slips a jab and a cross from Bruce.
Bruce lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Bob Marley has been cut.
Marley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Marley shoots in but Bruce avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Marley blocks a head kick by Bruce.
Bruce stuffs the takedown.
Bruce Bruce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Marley.
Bruce misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Marley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bruce throws a sloppy head kick and Marley moves out of range easily.
Bruce tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bruce throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Marley shoots in and bounces Bruce off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Marley drops back looking for a leg! Bruce is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bruce manages to kick Marley off! Marley jumps back into Bruce's guard.

Bruce misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Marley tries for a takedown but Bruce sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bruce throws a series of strikes that have Marley backpedaling.
Marley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Bruce Bruce is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Marley avoids a kick to the body.
Marley tries a head kick but it misses.
Bruce throws a lazy head kick
and Marley counters with a shoot takedown. Bruce fights it but they end up in guard.
Bruce wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Bruce knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Marley on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marley wants to control from the top but Bruce keeps moving.

Bruce is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Marley counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bruce!
Marley wants to control the pace but Bruce is squirming around nicely.

Marley is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bruce is surviving well by controlling Marley's body position as best he can.

Marley misses with a takedown attempt - Bruce sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Marley counters with a leg kick.
Bruce lands with a kick to the ribs.

Bruce swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bruce throws a left that rocks Marley and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bruce dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Marley regain composure!

Bruce decides to stand up, so the ref orders Marley to his feet.
Marley is still on wobbly legs! Can Bruce finish him?
Bruce closes the distance but Marley moves to the side
and Marley counters with a shoot takedown. Bruce fights it but they end up in guard.
Marley seems to have recovered his senses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Marley won't allow Bruce to get back to his feet.
Bruce pulls Marley in to control the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bruce has his foot on Marley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Marley works his way back into a safe position though.
Bruce is looking to stand back up but Marley counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bruce.
Marley is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bruce has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bruce wants to control but Marley postures up.

Bruce pushes Marley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Marley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bruce looks to land a body kick but Marley moved away.
Marley misses with a kick to the body
and Bruce counters with a body kick that stops Marley in his tracks momentarily.

Bruce pushes Marley up against the cage in a clinch.
Marley fails to pull guard.
Marley tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bruce just stands there and leans against the cage.

and Bruce counters with a good, hard body kick but Marley shrugs it off.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bruce looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Horrible takedown by Marley or perhaps it was just good defense by Bruce which made him look bad.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bruce Bruce will probably get the nod.

Bruce wants to stand up but Marley has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Marley tries to roll over but Bruce keeps him under control.

Marley regains full guard. Nicely done.
Marley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bruce manages to get himself to full guard.
Bruce is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are battling for position here. Marley manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Bruce wants to control from the top but Marley keeps moving.
Bruce is sitting in close to Marley's body. Marley has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bruce is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bruce is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Marley.
