Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Neo Angin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacek Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Neo Angin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jacek Kowalski! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kowalski looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Angin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kowalski's guard. Angin preventing the sweep. Angin trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kowalski's guard. Kowalski seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Angin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Angin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kowalski is proving hard to escape from.

Neo Angin has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Kowalski gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Angin wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kowalski stalling.
Angin blocks an uppercut.
Angin wants a takedown.
Angin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Kowalski pressing his opponent against the cage. Kowalski has Angin pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kowalski pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Angin tumbling to the mat - Kowalski dives into Angin's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kowalski trying to control the position from guard on top but Angin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kowalski slips nicely into half guard. Angin wants to improve his position but Kowalski is controlling well.
Kowalski working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. This has been an exciting period of action! Kowalski is looking for a kimura but Angin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kowalski to get the leverage. Angin is staying active underneath Kowalski, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Angin wants to control but Kowalski is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kowalski is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Kowalski is trying to control here but Angin has managed to regain half guard.
Kowalski landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Kowalski is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Angin has managed to free his arm - good work. Kowalski wants to advance to full mount but Angin doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Angin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kowalski throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Angin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Angin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Angin is keen to just control but Kowalski is a slippery customer. Kowalski moves into full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kowalski keeping moving, preventing Angin from controlling successfully. This has been an exciting period of action! Angin stands up from guard. Let's bang! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jacek Kowalski dominated that round. That's time! Angin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Angin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kowalski avoids it really well and circles away. Angin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kowalski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Angin paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kowalski rushes Angin and presses him up against the cage. Angin tries to circle away but Kowalski has him pinned against the cage. Kowalski can't find room to land a body shot as Angin controls the action.
Angin drags the fight down to the ground.
Kowalski drops back looking for a leg! Angin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Angin manages to kick Kowalski off! Kowalski jumps back into Angin's guard. Angin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kowalski is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kowalski doing his best to control the position. Can he escape? Kowalski wants to control but Angin is having none of it. Kowalski is looking to get to half guard. Angin stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kowalski rushes Angin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Angin wants to get back to striking at distance but Kowalski won't allow it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neo Angin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Angin tries to pull guard but Kowalski won't allow it.
Kowalski is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Angin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Kowalski is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Angin working hard to break the clinch. Angin breaks from the clinch.
Angin fails with the takedown. Kowalski shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Angin wants to control but Kowalski is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kowalski tries to pass to full mount but Angin defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kowalski is thwarting Angin's attempts to control the position. Angin is trying to stand up here but Kowalski is controlling him well. Jacek Kowalski has got the better of the ground game so far. Kowalski stalling away here and it's allowed Angin to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Kowalski trying to control the position from guard on top but Angin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kowalski missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Angin controls Kowalski momentarily but Kowalski frees himself. Angin is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Kowalski tries to free his leg and advance position but Angin is retaining full guard.

Kowalski is pushing Angin up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Kowalski manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Angin gets to his feet. Kowalski looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Kowalski wants to clinch. Kowalski doesn't manage to clinch there - Angin circles away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Angin tries to clinch up and Kowalski counters by clinching up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jacek Kowalski will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Kowalski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kowalski tries to clinch there but Angin circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Angin looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kowalski rushes Angin and presses him up against the cage. Angin breaks from the clinch.
Kowalski misses the shot to the body. Jacek Kowalski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Angin tries to clinch up. Kowalski moves out of range as Angin throws a body kick.
Kowalski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Angin circles away. Kowalski fails with an attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Angin is defended easily by Kowalski. Angin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kowalski as he avoids it easily. Kowalski wants to clinch. Neo Angin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kowalski tries to close the distance and clinch but Angin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Angin shoots in for a takedown but Kowalski shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neo Angin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kowalski throws a hook but Angin avoids it easily. The fight moves into the clinch position. Angin tries to pull guard but Kowalski holds him up against the cage and eventually Angin drops back down to his feet.

Kowalski is struggling to control the position. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Angin as Kowalski tries to tie him up. Kowalski misses with a shot to the kidneys.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Angin has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kowalski is trying to keep an underhook but Angin manages to get the takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Angin is looking to advance position but Kowalski won't allow it. Kowalski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Angin is taking a breather. Kowalski says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Angin wants to get back to his feet.
Kowalski is defending against the submission attempts here by Angin.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kowalski wants to get back to full guard. Angin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kowalski knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Angin is stalling here. Kowalski is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Angin seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kowalski has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kowalski swings around for an armbar but Angin sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kowalski's guard. Angin wants to control from the top but Kowalski keeps moving. Kowalski pulls Angin in to control the position. Neo Angin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Angin has gone for a leg lock! Kowalski slips out almost immediately though and dives into Angin's guard. Jacek Kowalski is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Angin trying to strike off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Neo Angin. Well Kowalski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Jacek Kowalski! Jacek Kowalski decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
