Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Israli Rajeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederic Reinhardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frederic Reinhardt told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reinhardt avoids the head kick by Rajeem.
Rajeem circles away from the clinch attempt.

Rajeem takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Reinhardt gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

That's time! Rajeem's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Reinhardt blocks the body kick.
Rajeem feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Reinhardt throws a lazy right hand but Rajeem sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rajeem bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Reinhardt is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rajeem asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rajeem is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Reinhardt's shoulder. That is not cool.

Rajeem lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rajeem closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
