Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Bomber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raphael Stone! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bomber moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A bone on bone clash there as Bomber blocks the leg kick.
Stone throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Stone throws a sloppy body shot
so Bomber counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Stone has his hands on Bomber's head, controlling the position. Bomber postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stone is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bomber, into his guard. Stone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bomber looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bomber working for a triangle but Stone defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bomber is looking for a triangle here but Stone uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Bomber is breathing heavily. Stone in side control lands a decent elbow. Stone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bomber. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Stone is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bomber's shoulder. That is not cool. Bomber is looking to reverse the position. Stone has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Raphael Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stone tries to break the clinch but Bomber is controlling the position. Stone is trying to break the clinch but Bomber has him pressed against the cage. Bomber prevents Stone from breaking the clinch. Stone lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Stone is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bomber can't fight it off and eventually Stone manages to take the fight to the floor. Bomber looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bomber throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Stone stands and steps away. Bomber gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bomber is able to avoid easily. Stone misses with a double jab.
Stone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bomber moves away. Stone clinches. Bomber keeps control of Stone as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Stone is trying to force a seperation but Bomber has the dominant position. Bomber jumps guard but Stone stands there with Bomber around his waist. Bomber gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Stone breaks from the clinch.
Raphael Stone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bomber on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Stone throws a right and a left that both miss. Stone throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stone has Bomber up against the cage in a clinch.
Stone is trying to push Bomber away but Bomber has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stone leaning against his opponent.
Bomber gets control of Stone's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bomber will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raphael Stone dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Stone throws a leg kick but Bomber moved away. Stone throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bomber takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Bomber shoots in for a double leg but Stone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Stone lands a jab to Bomber's midsection. Stone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stone fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bomber manages to avoid it. Bomber has his takedown stuffed and Stone counters with a left to the body. Stone ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone jabs Bomber to the body, keeping him at a distance. Stone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bomber. Stone just misses with a punch to the body.
Stone lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Stone attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Stone has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stone is trying to break free. Stone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Stone misses with a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Stone is trying to break free. Stone is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Stone jumps into guard, dragging Bomber to the mat.
Bomber pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stone is keeping the position for now. Stone scrambles and gets back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stone throws a leg kick but Bomber sees it coming and checks it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone clinches. Bomber is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stone gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Bomber. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stone is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Stone manages to break the clinch.
Stone connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Stone wants to land a leg kick but Bomber is out of range. Bomber checks a leg kick nicely. Stone gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Stone lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bomber at a distance.
Billy Bomber is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stone scores with a jab to the body. Nice body punch from Stone. Stone digs a good hook to Bomber's body.
Stone is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Bomber rather than just go for the knockout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stone lands with a shot to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stone closes the distance and pushes Bomber back into the cage. Bomber keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stone's efforts to push away. Bomber is trying to pull guard but Stone has him pressed against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raphael Stone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

The fight moves into the clinch position. Stone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stone swinging wildly here.
Stone throws a series of punches but Bomber moves out of range. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stone has managed to clinch.
Bomber tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stone smiles and moves away.
Stone has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Stone stuns Bomber with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Stone clinches. Stone lands a body shot in the clinch.
Stone has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bomber tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Stone throws a knee to the head but misses.
Stone tries to break the clinch but Bomber is controlling the position. Stone lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Stone breaks the clinch.
Stone closes the distance and pushes Bomber back into the cage. Stone breaks the clinch.
Stone has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stone is trying to push Bomber away but Bomber has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stone throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Stone gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Stone pushes off an throws an elbow but Bomber leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Stone breaks the clinch.
Stone wants to land a leg kick but Bomber is out of range. Bomber looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stone is fending him off so far but Bomber persists. Nope, Stone circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Bomber. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stone moves into the clinch. Stone manages to break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bomber avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bomber takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Stone misses the shot to the body. Stone tries to land a front kick but Bomber steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Nice uppercut there from Stone. Raphael Stone is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Stone closes the distance and clinches. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stone breaks the clinch.
Billy Bomber has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stone closes the distance and clinches.
And that's the end of the fight! Raphael Stone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stone has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Raphael Stone! In his post fight interview, Raphael Stone started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
