Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Santa Clause (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Fielding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santa Clause! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Fielding! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fielding tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Fielding gets caught flat footed, as Clause shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Clause has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Clause's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Fielding manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Clause is squirming around, avoiding Fielding's attempts to control the action. Fielding thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Clause tries to lock up and control but Fielding gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Fielding looking to control but Clause is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Clause is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clause wants to hold on but Fielding pushes him away. Fielding with good strikes from the mount here! Clause wants to try and get back to his feet. Clause is in all sorts of trouble here.
Fielding thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Clause keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Clause is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Clause blocking the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fielding throwing strikes here but Clause is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Clause tries to hold on but Fielding postures up. Clause is looking to improve his position but Fielding isn't that keen on the idea. Fielding lands a nice shot to the head. Clause is looking to get to half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Fielding pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fielding is landing with some decent strikes but Clause is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Clause is in all sorts of trouble here.
Fielding trying to control but Clause is having none of it. Fielding punching from mount but Clause doing a good job of avoiding damage. Clause tries to lock up and control but Fielding gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Clause is working to get back to half guard.
Fielding misses with a head shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fielding avoids the attempt from Clause to control. Clause sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Clause tries to roll over but Fielding keeps him under control. Fielding tries to stand and escape but Clause actually recovers to full guard. Fielding is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Clause utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Santa Clause will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Clause closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Clause pulls Fielding into guard.
Fielding stands and throws Clause's legs to the side, diving into side control. Clause is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Fielding off and has taken his back! I would not like to be Fielding right now.
Clause seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fielding for as long as he can get away with. Fielding tries to escape but Clause has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clause has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Fielding is defending well but eventually Clause manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Fielding has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Santa Clause!
