Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Delcin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rios's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Forever. Diego Rios has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Diego Rios! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vlad Delcin! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rios misses with a two punch combination.
Delcin ducks under a wild hook from Rios. Delcin digs a good hook to Rios's body.
Rios connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Rios misses with the combination.
Delcin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rios swivels and escapes. Delcin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rios was covering up waiting for the punch and Delcin finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Delcin postures up in Rios's guard and throws a big left but Rios blocks it. Delcin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rios scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Delcin shoots in and drives through. Rios sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rios gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Delcin to score an easy takedown into full guard. Delcin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Delcin throws an elbow that misses. Rios uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Delcin's guard. Nice move by Rios! Delcin wants to hit a switch here but Rios passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Delcin there! Rios working for a submission but Delcin is keeping him at bay. Delcin is working to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delcin defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rios. Rios with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Rios is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Delcin is surviving well by controlling Rios's body position as best he can. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rios is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Delcin can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Rios thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Delcin is looking to reverse the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Delcin defending against the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Delcin shoots in looking for a takedown but Rios manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Delcin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Rios misses with a two punch combination.

Rios plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! A jab from Rios does it's job there. Rios leaves Delcin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Delcin dodges the punch combination from Rios.
Rios will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Delcin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rios. Delcin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rios to the ground. Delcin is now in Rios's guard. Delcin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rios. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rios is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rios thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Delcin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Delcin wants to control but Rios is having none of it. Rios jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Delcin is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Delcin and Rios has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Rios is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Delcin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rios decides to stand back up. Rios steps back and let's Delcin get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Diego Rios showed his dominance in that final round. I think Rios has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
