Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Troy Achilles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Cheese!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Achilles clinches up with Cheese and pushes him back against the cage.
Achilles pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cheese lands a nice leg kick that just misses Achilles's sensitive parts.
Cheese has his takedown stuffed
and Achilles moves into the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Achilles pulls Cheese into guard.
Cheese controlling from the top position.
Cheese sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Achilles's guard.

Achilles is refusing to be controlled, as Cheese sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cheese prevents Achilles from improving his position.
Cheese tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Achilles pushes Cheese off and gets back to his feet.
Achilles moves into range and clinches up with Cheese.
Cheese tries to pull guard but Achilles forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Achilles dodges an elbow strike from Cheese.
Achilles is trying to drag Cheese to the mat but Cheese just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Cheese tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Achilles smiles and moves away.
Troy Achilles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Cheese.
Cheese wants to clinch up but Achilles keeps it at a distance.

Achilles wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cheese keeps working.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Troy Achilles.
Cheese tries to score a power double leg takedown but Achilles sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cheese somewhat.

Cheese has hold of Achilles's hands but Achilles slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Achilles throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Achilles works his foot free and advances to mount.
Achilles pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Cheese is wriggling around trying to escape.
Cheese takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Achilles can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cheese is looking to escape.
Achilles fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Cheese really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Achilles. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Achilles wants to control the pace but Cheese is squirming around nicely.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Achilles keeps the fight on the outside.
Achilles closes the distance and pushes Cheese back into the cage.
Achilles is trying to drag Cheese to the mat but Cheese just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Cheese is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Achilles is defending well for now.
Cheese is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Achilles to keep the fight standing.

Cheese has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Achilles is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Achilles shoots in and drives through. Cheese sprawls well.
Cheese cracks Achilles with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Cheese doesn't manage to clinch there - Achilles circles away.

and Achilles holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Cheese wants to break free but Achilles has control.
Cheese misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Troy Achilles is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Achilles goes for a takedown attempt but Cheese pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cheese lands a nice hook to Achilles's body. Achilles takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Achilles closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Cheese looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Achilles can't get the takedown.
Achilles tries to stall but Cheese uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Cheese tries to circle away but Achilles has him pinned against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Nick Cheese.
I think Achilles has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Troy Achilles was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
