Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Conlon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob LeBlanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacob LeBlanc acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy Conlon! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacob LeBlanc! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conlon tests LeBlanc's chin there with a solid looking shot. LeBlanc tries to keep at a distance but Conlon has taken the fight into the clinch. Conlon is pushing LeBlanc up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. LeBlanc is working for takedown but Conlon is calmly controlling the position for now. Conlon is pressed up against the cage. LeBlanc has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Conlon down to the mat. Conlon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. LeBlanc misses with a takedown attempt and Conlon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tommy Conlon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob LeBlanc. LeBlanc drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Conlon wants to sweep here but LeBlanc controlling him for the moment. Conlon is working hard here to advance position. LeBlanc is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. LeBlanc is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Conlon is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Conlon has escaped and now he's on top! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Conlon stays in close to LeBlanc's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conlon wants to pass the guard but LeBlanc is keeping the position. LeBlanc is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Conlon is aware though and is defending well. LeBlanc working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Conlon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Conlon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. LeBlanc tries to land a sweep but no joy. Conlon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. LeBlanc working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Conlon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Conlon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Conlon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for LeBlanc on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Conlon wants to control from the top but LeBlanc keeps moving. Conlon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. LeBlanc keeping full guard, as Conlon tries to pass. LeBlanc has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Conlon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Conlon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. LeBlanc is keeping the position for now. Conlon trying to control but LeBlanc is working from the bottom. LeBlanc throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Conlon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. LeBlanc has a closed guard, preventing Conlon from standing up. Conlon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. LeBlanc working for submissions but it's allowed Conlon to get to half guard.
LeBlanc won't allow Conlon to pass to mount. LeBlanc actively working from the bottom here. Conlon performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Conlon is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. LeBlanc wants to improve his position but Conlon is controlling well.

Conlon stands and steps away. LeBlanc gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Conlon clinches up against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Conlon holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Conlon lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down LeBlanc. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Conlon prevents a takedown attempt there.
LeBlanc changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Conlon fights it off and pushes away nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jacob LeBlanc will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Conlon moves into the clinch. Conlon lands a shoulder strike. LeBlanc wants a takedown but no success here.

Nice body punch from Conlon. Jacob LeBlanc is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. LeBlanc gets tackled into the cage by Conlon. Conlon maintains the clinch. Conlon prevents a takedown attempt there.

Conlon digs a right hand into LeBlanc's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on LeBlanc's gas tank. Conlon throws a hook to the body. That's two minutes gone in the round. Conlon lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. LeBlanc has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Conlon is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Conlon is pushing LeBlanc up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Conlon gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Tommy Conlon. Conlon closes the distance and clinches. Tommy Conlon has scored more points in the clinch so far. A short right from Conlon. LeBlanc's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! A body shot lands from Conlon.
Conlon pushes LeBlanc back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Conlon lands with a light punch inside. Conlon stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. LeBlanc is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Conlon pulls him back up using the underhooks. Still in the clinch, Conlon scores with a nice short uppercut. A quick uppercut on the inside from Conlon. Conlon lands a nice uppercut.
LeBlanc is rocked! Conlon drops LeBlanc onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! LeBlanc is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! LeBlanc is still on wobbly legs! Can Conlon finish him? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Conlon dips a shoulder and cracks LeBlanc with a mighty uppercut! LeBlanc falls back against the cage and Conlon unloads with a barrage of strikes! LeBlanc is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Conlon screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Conlon! Tommy Conlon retains his middleweight title! After the fight, Tommy Conlon was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
