The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers fails with a takedown attempt.

Boshesh closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Boshesh lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Boshesh trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Summers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Summers manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Boshesh manages to get himself to full guard.

Summers is looking to improve his position but Boshesh isn't that keen on the idea.
Boshesh fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Boshesh has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Summers's face.

Summers is in a horrible position here. Boshesh smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Summers sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Boshesh winds up and cracks Summers with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Boshesh lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Summers has hold of Boshesh's hands but Boshesh slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Summers is rocked!
Boshesh lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Summers! More strikes land and this one is all over! Boshesh jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

In his post fight interview, Kim Boshesh started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
