Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Laguna Lunaris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dingo Monster!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monster chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Monster swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Monster throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Monster scores with a leg kick.
Lunaris checks a leg kick nicely.
Monster tries a head kick but it misses.
Lunaris tries to clinch up
and Monster counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lunaris fails with an attempt to clinch.
Monster misses with an uppercut

and Lunaris counters by clinching up.
Monster blocks an elbow strike.
Monster wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lunaris has him pressed against the ropes.
Monster lands an uppercut.

Monster manages to break the clinch.
Lunaris walks into a straight right hand from Monster.
Lunaris checks a leg kick.
Monster misses the shot to the body.
Monster misses with an uppercut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Monster swings for the body but Lunaris moves out of range.
Lunaris tries to close the distance and clinch but Monster swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Lunaris darts in and clinches Monster up against the ropes.
Monster tries to circle away but Lunaris has him pinned against the ropes.
Lunaris trying to land knees to the body.
Lunaris lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


It looks like Dingo Monster has been cut.
Monster blocks an elbow strike.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Lunaris throws an elbow but misses.
Lunaris landing knees to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lunaris lands an elbow inside.
Monster tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Monster using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lunaris has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Monster throws a head punch that misses.

Lunaris is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Monster is defending well for now.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Lunaris throws an elbow but misses.
Monster misses with the head strike.

Monster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dingo Monster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Monster avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Monster throws a head kick but Lunaris moves out of range.
Monster stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Monster pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lunaris is out of range and Monster settles back down.
Lunaris fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Monster has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lunaris fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Monster, pushing him back against the ropes.
Monster wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Monster tries to break free but Lunaris pushes him back against the ropes.
Lunaris throws an elbow but it misses.
Monster is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Monster avoids a wild elbow strike from Lunaris.
Lunaris is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Lunaris gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Monster avoids a wild elbow strike from Lunaris.
Monster takes an elbow to the forehead.


That has opened up Dingo Monster's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A frustrated look appears on Monster's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Lunaris creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Monster misses with some punches.
Lunaris throws an elbow that misses.
Monster misses with a punch on the inside.

That's five minutes gone in the round.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Lunaris throws an elbow but misses.
Lunaris trying to land knees to the body.
Monster blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Lunaris lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.


The cut above Dingo Monster's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Lunaris just misses with a elbow thrown towards Monster's brow.
Monster blocks the elbow strike.
Monster working hard to break the clinch.
Monster wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lunaris misses with an elbow over the top.
Monster tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Monster tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Monster avoiding damage as Lunaris throws knees to the body.
Lunaris tries to stall but Monster uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Lunaris lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.


Dingo Monster's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dingo Monster's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Laguna Lunaris!
