Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Donnie O Brien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lolo Delaroca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Brien comes to the cage accompanied by Rocky Road to Dublin. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Brien dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Delaroca darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Delaroca seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but O Brien does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Delaroca is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Lolo Delaroca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Delaroca throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around O Brien 's waist but O Brien gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Delaroca off to one side.
O Brien steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Delaroca.

Delaroca shoots in looking for a takedown but O Brien manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Delaroca's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
O Brien lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
O Brien lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
O Brien throws a shot from downtown. Delaroca moves away and avoids it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Donnie O Brien will probably get the nod.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Donnie O Brien overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
