Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daigo Asai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Corso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corso has chosen Tears in Rain as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daigo Asai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Will Corso!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asai throws a half hearted mid kick.
Good work by Asai as he checks the leg kick.

Corso drives through with a takedown into Asai's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Asai controls Corso momentarily but Corso frees himself.
Asai wants to stand but Corso is controlling the position.
Corso stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Asai swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Asai on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Asai tries to get out of the position.

Corso postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Asai is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Corso, into his guard.
Corso looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Asai trying to control the position from guard on top but Corso is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Asai is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Corso has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Asai is looking to defend but Corso has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Asai! Corso pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Asai taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Will Corso!
