Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernie Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob McGrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGrady comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGrady ducks under a wild hook from Davis.
Bob McGrady seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for McGrady, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Davis throws the kick towards the body but McGrady avoids it.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
McGrady pushes Davis off looking to stand but Davis dives back in and keeps control.

Davis is looking for a kimura but McGrady is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Davis to get the leverage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McGrady is trying to stand back up but Davis is controlling him
Davis is stalling here. McGrady is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Davis seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and McGrady has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Davis is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

McGrady takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
McGrady wants to take a breather but Davis is having none of it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McGrady is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
McGrady seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

McGrady lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McGrady uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Davis drops his hands momentarily and McGrady takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Davis ducks straight into an uppercut from McGrady and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Davis manages to regain guard straight away.

McGrady arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Davis's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Bob McGrady took some time post fight to say the following; 'I planned this as my retirement match but hey, shit changes! I've received an invite to a tournament that I will most likely be entering and then retiring after that. Keep an eye out for me, I'm not gone yet!'.
