The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Praphasirirat circles away.
Praphasirirat lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McGee circles away quickly and effectively.
Praphasirirat defends well against a solid takedown attempt from McGee.
Praphasirirat lands a head kick. McGee smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Royce McGee has been cut.
A solid leg kick lands there for Praphasirirat.
Praphasirirat throws a big shot that misses.
McGee showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Praphasirirat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McGee drives through with a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
McGee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Praphasirirat swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McGee is stalling in the full guard.
McGee trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Praphasirirat is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jaidee Praphasirirat just wasn't active enough.

McGee shoots in and bounces Praphasirirat off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
McGee is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
McGee works a leg free and moves into half guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Royce McGee was stalling too much, according to the referee.
McGee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Praphasirirat pinned against the cage. Praphasirirat gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jaidee Praphasirirat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce McGee.
Praphasirirat throws a head kick but McGee moves out of range.
Royce McGee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Praphasirirat connects with a solid leg kick.
McGee looks gassed!

Praphasirirat fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McGee.

Praphasirirat thows a body kick. McGee tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Praphasirirat lands a big head kick that sends McGee tumbling to the mat! Praphasirirat takes a step backwards and waves McGee back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McGee is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Praphasirirat looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Praphasirirat backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks McGee's temple! It sends McGee violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Praphasirirat celebrates and the doctors try to help McGee!
