Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Snozynsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trinidad Suarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Max Snozynsky! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Trinidad Suarez! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snozynsky will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Suarez drives through with a takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Suarez with a flurry of punches that miss. Snozynsky avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snozynsky is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Snozynsky is working hard here to advance position. Suarez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Suarez trying to control but Snozynsky is working from the bottom. Snozynsky avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Suarez content to stall in guard here. Suarez scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Suarez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suarez stopping the sweep attempt from Snozynsky. Suarez trying to control but Snozynsky is working from the bottom. Snozynsky trying to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Snozynsky uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Suarez.
That's two minutes gone in the round. No luck for Suarez with that takedown attempt. Snozynsky gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Suarez to score an easy takedown into full guard. Snozynsky has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Suarez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Suarez looking to pass the guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Suarez postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Snozynsky trying to keep a closed guard but Suarez is proving a slippery customer.
Suarez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Snozynsky swivels though and keeps the full guard. Suarez postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suarez cracks Snozynsky with a solid left hand. Snozynsky working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Suarez. Snozynsky looking for a sweep. Not yet Snozynsky, not yet. Suarez wants to control from the top but Snozynsky keeps moving. Suarez postures up.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Suarez with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Suarez working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Suarez preventing the sweep. Suarez makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Snozynsky wants to sweep here but Suarez controlling him for the moment. Suarez is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Suarez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Snozynsky works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Suarez postures up and lands a big shot to Snozynsky's brow. Suarez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suarez lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Snozynsky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Suarez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Suarez with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Snozynsky is rocked! Snozynsky throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Suarez lands a couple of decent looking shots. Suarez landing some decent shots from guard. Oh Snozynsky is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Suarez postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Snozynsky covers up, he's hurt! Suarez keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Suarez and the ref steps in to end the fight! Suarez can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trinidad Suarez! Trinidad Suarez is the new middleweight champion!
