Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Adamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valery Strasser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valery Strasser will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dusty Adamek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Valery Strasser! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strasser moves in looking to clinch but Adamek pushes him off. Strasser misses with a head kick.
Adamek throws a right hand that Strasser ducks under and follows up with a left that Strasser also avoids with ease. Adamek scores with a takedown into Strasser's guard. Adamek looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Strasser is looking to stand up but Adamek isn't so interested in that idea. Adamek's corner is telling him to maintain position. Strasser wants to stand up but Adamek is controlling him. Adamek engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Dusty Adamek just wasn't active enough. Strasser fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adamek scores with a jab to the body. Adamek avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Adamek throws a right and a left that Strasser avoids nicely. Adamek keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Adamek throws a series of punches but Strasser moves out of range. Strasser tries a head kick but it misses.

A head kick misses from Strasser. Strasser wants to clinch but Adamek slips to the side and Adamek decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Strasser's guard. Adamek working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Strasser's head. Adamek engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Adamek's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adamek seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Strasser for as long as he can get away with.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dusty Adamek. Strasser is looking to clinch but Adamek is avoiding it.
Adamek closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Strasser quickly recovers to half guard. Adamek content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Strasser really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adamek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Adamek decides to return to a standing position. Strasser tries to clinch but Adamek is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strasser keeps the fight on the outside. Adamek connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Strasser's hands. Adamek throws the kick towards the body but Strasser avoids it. Adamek circles away from the clinch attempt and Adamek counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Adamek trying to control the pace. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Strasser pushes Adamek off looking to stand but Adamek dives back in and keeps control.
Well, if Adamek is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Adamek has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Adamek drops an elbow to the side of Strasser's head. Adamek sitting and controlling from the half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Dusty Adamek wasn't doing enough on the ground. Adamek shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Adamek showed some decent athleticism there. Strasser is trying to stand up here but Adamek is controlling him well. Strasser looks gassed! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Adamek takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Adamek slows the pace down in half guard. Adamek working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dusty Adamek dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Adamek controls from within his opponent's guard. Adamek advances position into side control! Adamek slows the pace down.

Adamek is staying tight to Strasser's torso, preventing him from escaping. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Strasser is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Adamek has just dragged him back down to the mat. Adamek taking a breather here. Adamek looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dusty Adamek overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Adamek working the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adamek is chipping away with strikes.
Adamek happy to just control the position for now. Adamek cracks Strasser with a big right hand but Strasser just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Adamek working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Adamek working the ground and pound. Adamek just content to control the position. Adamek scores with punches from side control. Adamek swings around for an armbar but Strasser sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Adamek's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strasser wants to stand but Adamek is controlling his posture from full guard. Strasser wants to stand and escape but instead Adamek has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Strasser is breathing heavily. Adamek content to stall in guard here. Adamek advances position into side control! Adamek is putting a hurting on Strasser here, landing some big shots from side control. Adamek is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Strasser can do to turn this around? You can see the frustration on Strasser's face as Adamek controls the position.

Strasser is working to avoid the ground and pound but Adamek connects with a decent elbow. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Strasser taking punishment in the form of punches.

Strasser is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Strasser being controlled for a moment. Strasser is still in real trouble! Can Adamek finish him? Adamek is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Strasser looks calm but he's in trouble here. Adamek gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Strasser is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Adamek lets go of the hold and Strasser can pop his arm back in it's socket.
