Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wrussel Wrestle! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hayes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wrestle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hayes misses with a body shot.
Wrestle shoots in looking for a takedown but Hayes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wrestle's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hayes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wrestle manages to avoid it. Hayes misses with a double jab.
Wrestle shoots in and gets a takedown into Hayes's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hayes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hayes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wrestle trying to control the position from guard on top but Hayes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hayes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wrestle trying to move into half guard but instead Hayes has managed to sweep!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wrestle is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hayes trying to control the position from guard on top but Wrestle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hayes looking to sit in guard and control but Wrestle gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Wrestle preventing the sweep. Hayes keeping full guard, as Wrestle tries to pass. Wrestle trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Wrestle looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wrestle connects with a couple of short punches. Wrestle controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hayes wants to sweep here but Wrestle controlling him for the moment. Hayes working for a triangle but Wrestle defends it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hayes throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wrestle looking to sit in guard and control but Hayes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Wrestle wants to improve his position but instead Hayes has moved into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wrestle is refusing to be controlled, as Hayes sits in half guard. Hayes seems to be working for a kimura but Wrestle defends the submission attempt. Wrestle blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hayes. Hayes wants to free his trapped foot but Wrestle is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wrestle wants to get back to full guard. Hayes wants to take a breather but Wrestle is having none of it. Wrestle is trying to stand back up but Hayes is controlling him
Hayes is trying to control. Wrestle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Larry Hayes just wasn't active enough. Hayes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wrestle momentarily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hayes takes a swing at Wrestle's ribcage but misses. Wrestle avoids a punch combination nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Larry Hayes dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Wrestle fails with a takedown attempt. Wrestle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hayes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wrestle somewhat. Hayes lands a left and a right that send Wrestle crashing to the mat, dazed. Hayes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Wrussel Wrestle has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hayes throws a series of punches but Wrestle moves out of range. Wrestle on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Hayes grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Wrestle takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Hayes cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Larry Hayes! Larry Hayes was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
