Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leevi Nikkola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Dout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dout comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Don't Tread On Me by Metaillica kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Max Dout enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leevi Nikkola! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Dout! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dout keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nikkola shoots in for a takedown but Dout shows good takedown defense. Dout fails to land with a series of punches.
Nikkola fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leevi Nikkola. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nikkola fails to land the takedown. Dout stuffs the takedown attempt from Nikkola. Nikkola gets slowly back to his feet. Some bone on bone action there as Nikkola checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Nikkola shoots in and drives through. Dout sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dout stuffs the takedown attempt from Nikkola. Nikkola gets slowly back to his feet. Dout stalks Nikkola and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nikkola's face. Nikkola staggers backwards, shaken. Nikkola looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nikkola fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nikkola changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dout tries to avoid it but Nikkola manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dout to the ground. Dout escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. No luck for Nikkola with that takedown attempt. Nikkola fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Nikkola is breathing heavily. Dout paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A left lands for Dout. Nice sprawl there from Dout as Nikkola shoots in. Nikkola closes the distance and clinches up with Dout, looking for a takedown. Nikkola pushes Dout against the cage but Dout circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dout shoots in and bounces Nikkola off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Dout is looking to stand up but Nikkola won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dout tries to free his leg and advance position but Nikkola is retaining full guard. Dout controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dout throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dout should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Dout not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Nikkola looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dout is one step ahead there. Dout gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Dout moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Nikkola on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Nikkola has his takedown stuffed and Dout counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dout rushes Nikkola and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Nikkola drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dout pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nikkola shoots and misses and Dout counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Nikkola drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dout gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Nikkola tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dout just stands there and leans against the cage. Nikkola goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dout prevents it.
Dout breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nikkola tries for a takedown but Dout circles away easily and Dout counters with a straight right hand. Nikkola gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dout counters with a takedown into side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Nikkola manages to get back to half guard. Dout wants to pass the guard but Nikkola is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dout content to control rather than advance. Nikkola looking for submissions off his back. Nikkola is looking to improve his position.

Dout stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Nikkola drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dout keeping full guard, as Nikkola tries to pass. Dout utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Nikkola loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Dout dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nikkola has his takedown stuffed and Dout counters with a three punch combo that has Nikkola backing up. Nikkola nods at Dout to acknowledge the strikes. Nikkola with a lazy takedown attempt and Dout counters with a one-two to the body. Nikkola fails with the takedown and Dout connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leevi Nikkola. That's going to take a lot out of him. Danga de danga de dang - Dout scores with a four punch combination! Nikkola shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Dout is looking to stand up but Nikkola isn't so interested in that idea. Dout has Nikkola pulled in close to control his posture. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Nikkola throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dout works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dout wants to stand but Nikkola is controlling the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nikkola missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Nikkola won't allow Dout to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dout has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Nikkola off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Nikkola with a poor takedown so Dout counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Nikkola can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dout controls the pace. Nikkola wants to sweep here but Dout controlling him for the moment. Nikkola is looking to sinch up a triangle. Dout throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Nikkola's body to avoid the submission. Nikkola has instead reached around Dout's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nikkola arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
